Henry's Coffee and Tea Store, Cromer- Norfolk

Another afternoon tea recommendation!!

We had an afternoon tea from Henry's during the lockdown, for a birthday celebration. Ordering from a new place caused me to be very apprehensive, especially as an afternoon tea contains a lot of gluten!!

But I would highly recommend!!

The owner talked us through the options on the phone and made me feel very reassured that our order was going to be gluten free. She explained where all the products came from, and whether they were home made etc or where they were bought from. We collected our afternoon tea and it looked beautiful, all clearly marked with GF so we knew which ones were which. We had two gluten free afternoon teas which were definitely worth the price. The picture is only parts of the afternoon tea that we received. The cake slices were huge!! We had sausage rolls, scones (Cheese and fruit) , cream, jam and 4 different slices of cake.

I did not suffer any sort of reaction and it really was a treat!! We even had cake to last us for a few days!

I would definitely recommend a visit to Henry's. After speaking to the owner, she told me that they are looking to expand their gluten free offering even further when restrictions lift. Definitely worth a visit!
