The Bucks Arms- Blickling, Norfolk

Wow!!

As a coeliac I had always limited myself to the same restaurants around where I live. Just for safety really, as I knew I was comfortable and knew I wouldn't be glutened. However, for a special occasion, I wanted to go somewhere different! We chose the Bucks Arms and we were certainly impressed!!

My typical order in restaurants is a different type of burger each time but without the bun and I wanted to move away from that and see what else was on offer.

The waitress advised me what off the menu I could eat and checked with the kitchen when I mentioned that I was a coeliac, to ensure that everything went through the kitchen smoothly. All the staff were very knowledgeable and understood what I was asking them regarding gluten free offering.

In the end, after lots of choice, I chose the Gammon, chunky chips and an egg!! AND WOW!! It was absolutely delicious! Just look at the picture I've attached!!

And I thought that was good......

Dessert is normally a no go for a coeliac unless you want an ice cream! But on the menu it had GF next to a few of the desserts. I chose this delicious chocolate tort! A Coeliacs dream!

The next day I had no reaction, so I was a very happy girl!!I will definitely be visiting the bucks arms very soon when the restrictions are released!!
