The Scarborough Hill Country Inn, North Walsham- Norfolk

Afternoon tea is a lovely treat for special occasions, but when I was diagnosed as a coeliac I didn't think that this would be a possibility for me anymore and that I would have to miss out on these occasions. However, when searching for possible places for me to visit as a coeliac, we found that the Scarborough Hill offers a gluten free afternoon tea.

I have now visited here a few times on different occasions with both family and friends. All staff knew which afternoon tea was gluten free etc. and made me feel very reassured.

As you can see from the picture below, you don't miss out on anything!! Scones, cakes, treats, sandwiches, crisps and tea!! Even the sandwiches, which as Coeliacs we know aren't always the best, tasted delicious with a variety of fillings!!

I have eaten an afternoon tea here on a few occasions and never had a reaction!! I therefore know that this was 100% gluten free with no cross contamination!

I would definitely recommend the Scarborough Hill if you are ever in Norfolk and fancy a little afternoon tea treat!!
